Managing Lost and Found Discs

WDGC partners with Far From Par Disc Golf to provide a safe, central hub for lost and found discs in Whatcom County.

There is a section for lost and found discs inside the pro shop.

Contact will be attempted twice (once a month once the disc is dropped off) for discs with names and numbers, then, once a disc sits unclaimed for two months, they will be marked for donation.

Frequently Asked Questions and Community Resources

  • If you find a disc, as always, if there is a name or number marked, please attempt contact with the owner. If you are on Facebook, please post the disc to the Discussion Board and course lost and found group for where you found the disc.

Once you have done this, please drop the disc by Far From Par Disc Golf for it to hopefully be reunited with it’s owner!

  • Not yet, but there will be! We are working on getting drop boxes, like at Blaine, included at each of our courses. Stay tuned for updates on social media for when we are able to get those installed.

  • In the last year, we have received an ever-growing number of requests from local teachers for disc donations in order to introduce their students to the sport. Once discs are marked for donation, we will assemble disc kits for area schools and P.E. teachers.

With a primary goal of the WDGC to always continue growing the sport in our community, we are looking forward to implementing this new procedure for the end of 2023.

  • With dedicated channels for lost and found, event updates, and general discussion, the club’s Discord server is a one-stop destination for all thing’s Whatcom Disc Golf.

  • For general conversation, goings-on, event information and more, this is the WDGC hub for interaction.
