Navigating Our Courses

In general, we recommend using the uDisc app to find the most current hole layouts for Whatcom County courses. Tee sign maps are also present at Mossy Roc and Blaine. Pin positions at Blaine and Mossy Roc are in “short” layout during the winter months, usually between November and March/April.

Mossy Roc DGC

Mossy Roc is on private property within the Sudden Valley Homeowner’s Association. The course is private and requires all users sign liability waivers. WDGC pays to insure users annually. To keep Mossy operating, it is imperative that rules are followed and the course is respected. Parking at Mossy Roc is reserved for WDGC members while visiting the course.

You MUST park beyond the gate, every time.

  • Lock the gate behind you and do not share the combo. We’ve had serious vandalism in the past as the result of the gate being left open

  • The access code to the gate changes biannually on Feb. 1 and Aug. 1, and will be emailed out to active, complete members prior to the change. If you are an active member and need the code, please click here.

  • Park in the lot near hole one, or along the road directly up from the gate. Be respectful of other users, please drive and park safely and responsibly.

  • If there is NO parking available beyond the gate, you’ll have to come back another time. While this has never happened yet, it is imperative that parking does not become an issue outside the gate or along Lake Louise in order to protect our relationship with Sudden Valley.

Events, Discussion, Lost Discs

Info about weeklies, course updates, disc golf news and special events can all be found here on our website and at our Facebook page.

For community conversation, lost disc assistance, and beyond, join the Whatcom County Disc Golf Discussion Board or the club’s Discord server.

For lost and found discs, please follow our established lost and found protocol, explained here.

In the event you lose a disc over the fence on hole 14 at Blaine, do not attempt to recover it yourself. Beyond that fence is Border Patrol property and they do not take kindly to disc golfers trying to get over there. A trusted community member recovers discs from across the fence every month or so. At that time, recovered discs will be posted to the Blaine Lost and Found group and any owners of inked discs will be contacted directly.

For tournaments and leagues, Disc Golf Scene is the primary venue to search for these and to register.

For updates on events at Lake Padden DGC, follow Bellingham Disc Golf League on Facebook, or visit their website
